Shopping help
When you go shopping for someone, keep the following guidelines in mind:
- Make arrangements via zeewoldevoorelkaar about when and where the shopping will be done, this can also be done by telephone if you already know the person.
- Also discuss whether you want compensation for any travel costs (guideline: 30 cents per km). Agree when these will be settled. Please note: only for the outside area, in the village there is no fee!
- Preferably go through the shopping list by phone in advance.
- Make clear agreements about finances. We recommend that the person who does the shopping receives a rounded amount of money (preferably in an envelope with the amount written on it, check together whether this amount is correct). That amount should be higher than the expected costs for the groceries. Plus a coin for the shopping cart.
- Never take a debit card or credit card from the person you are shopping for, nor do you pin for him or her. On this list of companies you will find all shops in Zeewolde where you can pay with cash.
- Write down for yourself how much money you have received and ask the person you are doing this for to do the same, both put a signature / initials on each other's note. If it's written on the envelope, it doesn't have to.
- The person for whom you do your shopping (during the Corona crisis) does not go to the store.
- Keep an appropriate distance at the door (at least 1,5 meters).
- The groceries are obtained as much as possible in 1 store/supermarket.
- Do not hand the change in hand, put it back in the envelope.
- Immediately after shopping, ask the person you do the shopping for to check the receipt and change, give the receipt back to the person for whom you are getting the groceries.
- If something is not right, discuss it with each other.
- You can wait outside when bringing the groceries. If you do go inside, keep this visit short and keep your distance. If necessary, you can help store the groceries.
- Do not shake hands, wash or disinfect your hands regularly.
- If you are not feeling well, have a cold, cough, or fever, hand this task over to someone else.
- Telephone contact afterwards is of course always nice, the social aspect is also important!
